Your meetings in Microsoft 365 Copilot
Put Sæga's folder in OneDrive and you can ask Copilot to summarise a meeting, pick out decisions and say who does what.
Tried by Fredrik on 6 November 2026 with Microsoft 365 Copilot.
In Sæga
- Settings → Recording → Meetings → Keep every transcript as a file. Turn it on and choose a folder. The picker opens in a folder your cloud already syncs, if you have one.
- Projects become folders. A meeting in a project goes in the project's folder, the rest in
Inbox. When a meeting changes project its file moves too, as long as you haven't edited it. - Name and project while the meeting runs. Click the name in the meeting panel to type a new one, and pick the project in the menu below it.
File transcripts (audio and video files you transcribe) go in the same folder. Only want one project's meetings: Edit Project → Keep a Markdown copy of each meeting in a folder.
To OneDrive
Choose a folder under OneDrive in Sæga. On your Mac it is under ~/Library/CloudStorage/OneDrive-…. OneDrive syncs the files by itself.
In Copilot
- Open Copilot Chat.
- Attach the file, or pick it with + and then OneDrive.
- Ask your question.
Copilot read the .md files and summarised them well. Searching with / did not find the files 4 to 10 minutes after upload, probably because they first have to be indexed. So searching with / may take a while before new files show up.
Copilot has your Outlook calendar, so you can ask it to match the start field in the file to the calendar event. We have not tried that step yet. Try for example:
Here is my meeting transcript from Sæga. Match the start field against my Outlook calendar, tell me which meeting it was and summarise decisions and who does what.
Meetings without a name from the calendar are called "Meeting". Give the meeting a name in Sæga's meeting panel while it records, and the file is easy to recognise.
What happens to your data
Sæga writes the files on your Mac and never uploads anything. Your own sync, OneDrive, takes them on, and from there that service's terms apply. The files are not encrypted like Sæga's own transcripts, so anyone who can open the folder can read them. The audio never goes with them.
When you delete a meeting in Sæga, it asks whether the file should go too. A file you have edited always stays.
Common questions
Do I have to upload the files myself?
No. If Sæga's folder is in OneDrive, OneDrive syncs them by itself. You then attach the file in Copilot.
Why doesn't searching with / find my new file?
New files have to be indexed first, and that took 4 to 10 minutes when we tried. Attach the file directly if you don't want to wait.
